terms of service

what sublimated is

sublimated is a content-addressed file platform. you create spaces, sync files from your Mac via Finder, and access them anywhere via git, the web, or the API. we handle storage, versioning, delivery, and sync.

who can use it

  • you must be at least 18 years old

  • you must read and agree to our privacy policy

  • you are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account

  • you cannot use sublimated if you reside or pay taxes in: Russian Federation, Belarus, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Bolivia, Nicaragua

acceptable use

do not:

  • upload illegal content (piracy, malware, abuse material, phishing, scams)

  • abuse the service (spam, DOS attacks, unauthorized access)

  • use sublimated to break the laws of the State of Delaware in the USA

we can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

content and intellectual property

  • you own all content you upload or create, and all derivative data we generate from it (indexes, representations, cached renders)

  • data portability: you can export all your content at any time via git clone

  • by making content public you give us permission to host and deliver it

  • you are responsible for your content and any legal issues

  • we can remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws

service availability

  • we provide sublimated "as is" without warranties

  • we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. we will do our best to keep things running smoothly

  • we can modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

liability

  • we are not liable for: content you publish, data loss or service interruptions, indirect damages or lost profits

  • our total liability is limited to fees you paid in the last 12 months

  • you agree to indemnify and hold harmless sublimated and System Operator LLC from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of sublimated

termination

  • you can close your account anytime from settings

  • we can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

  • we reserve the right to close your account at any time for any reason

  • upon termination your spaces will be taken offline and your data will be handled per our privacy policy

changes to terms

  • we may update these terms. we will email active users about significant changes

  • continued use after changes means you accept the new terms

governing law

  • these terms are governed by Delaware law, USA

  • disputes will be resolved in Delaware courts
