These Welcome Notes are a good introduction to Bear, but the possibilities run much deeper. Here we’ll list some of our favorite useful tips:

## Power user tips
Mosey right into the cool Bear’s club with these tricks up your paw.

### 👉 Save webpages
You can easily save webpages to a new note with our [sharing extensions for Mac](https://bear.app/faq/) .
On iPhone and iPad you can use the [app extension](https://bear.app/faq/ios-app-extension/) for saving webpages and content from other apps. Tap the **Share Sheet** on iPhone or iPad, then tap Bear to get started. In the sheet that appears, you can choose from various options like saving any content that was selected, a link to the current webpage, or even the entire page.

### 👉 Work in multiple notes at once
Double-click a note in the Note List to open it in a separate window. Yes, you can open as many as you like. You can also use `Note > Open in New Window` in the menu bar. On iPad, You can use iPadOS's multitasking to open multiple Bear's windows.

### 👉 Export all notes in a tag
You can export all notes from a single tag for fun and profit. Right-click/long press a tag in the Sidebar, then choose **Export**.

### 👉 Link notes together
Notes can link to each other to form a body of knowledge, or a wiki. To link to a note, simply type two brackets, then a couple letters of the title of the note. On iOS a **Wiki Link button** is available next to the **B*I*~U~ button**.

### 👉 Stand out with TagCons
Tags in the sidebar with pound signs are cool. Know what’s cooler? Tags with cute emoji-like icons that make them easier to find!

Bear will automatically assign a TagCon to many common tags like recipes, ideas, and shopping. You can set your own, too: Simply right-click/long press a tag in the Sidebar, choose **Edit Tag**, then click the TagCon button in the popover that appears.

### 👉 Automate common notes with Shortcuts
[Apple Shortcuts](https://support.apple.com/guide/shortcuts/welcome/ios) is a super cool tool which simplifies common tasks that have multiple steps. For example, let’s say you often turn web articles into PDFs, then email them to a coworker or your team. A shortcut could take care of that entire process with a single click.

Bear has [great support for Shortcuts](https://bear.app/faq/), including creating your own, which can save you a lot of time. View [our support doc](https://bear.app/faq/) to learn more about Shortcuts and download some examples including sharing files from a note, copying the text of a PDF into a new note, and a quick way to create a new journal note and attach a selfie.
